Landscape Photography is a great course for all those enthusiastic about outdoor photography. You will explore equipment requirements, working on location and weather considerations for landscape and environmental still life pictures. Some lessons will take place on location.

Learn about the equipment and techniques used to produce professional looking studio portraits. You will learn camera, exposure, and lighting techniques and composition skills. With time to practise different techniques and lighting set ups.

Develop your skills and to work around a set theme. Produce work to a high standard in response to different locations and themes, while improving your photographic skills and technique. Ideal for everyone who wants to build up a portfolio. Some lessons are on location.

Learn more about your digital camera and gain confidence in picture taking. Covers camera types and accessories, camera operation skills, specific subject related technique, composition, and some basic tutorials in relevant software. Students are asked to bring their camera (Digital SLR or Compact).
Course dates: 20 Apr 2012 – 6 Jul 2012
The first day we meet on location (outdoors), with demonstrations on technique and one-to-one help on camera skills and composition. Working in groups you will explore the location and take images. Day two is classroom based, with demonstrations on editing technique and use of Adobe Lightroom to review and edit your images.
An intensive session to help you develop confidence and gain vital technical skills so that you can get the most out of your equipment. Through demonstrations and hands-on sessions, you’ll learn how to use the settings and functions of your camera while practising taking digital photographs.
