A New Term Starts

It was the Morley College Open Day yesterday, and what a busy day it was. I seem to be a wanted man!, this was interesting and a bit mad. There was at one point a whole room full of people waiting to see me and talk about the City & Guilds courses that i run and all the other courses that i teach and that are taught by my colleagues.

It is a good moment for the arts at Morley College, with a grade 1 from Ofsted, facilities for different departments being refitted and developed, popular exhibitions and a good sense of community with those who enter its doors. The new photography space is being finalised for the start of term and will offer a flexible space for ether photographic studio work and moveable tables and brand new laptops for computer work, this should certainly help the section with its development.

My teaching this year is varied and ranges from short courses focused on using aspects of the camera and studio to the two longer City & Guilds courses, of which the new intake is mostly decided with for me a hard task of deciding the last few places.

If you are interested in my course do see my last blog post and do go to the website to see details of my and my colleagues courses for this next academic year.
