London to Brighton Bike Ride

So yesterday was the bike ride, I had sporadically done training with work etc getting in the way. I did the ride with two cycling friends and we had done a Surrey to Brighton towpath ride during half term so we were feeling confident as that went well so we must be able to do this ok!

It took a while and from the start it is clear that BHF do not want you to think of it as a race, the start went off very slowly as there were many cyclists so we walked until we were off Clapham Common. Getting out of London too with traffic took time, but once we were into the countryside the cycling got better.
